Desk chair & rope.

I installed and documented this about a year before Covid-19 hit. Its working title was Desk in a Sycamore. I revisited the name after a year of the social distance schooling experience. I love that works can gain meaning through time.

Suspended Education with lights

I wanted to add my love of climbing trees in this installation. I had 30 seconds to run from the camera to the tree and climb up about 20 feet while waving a flashlight around. I had a lot of fun playing around with this idea.

Nesting Clay

I carried a large piece of clay to the top of this tree as an endurance performance piece.

I loved climbing this sycamore tree on campus. I made art installations in it for years.
